Retreat Description
This retreat is a participative and reflective time in God’s Word with open dialogue and exercises about learning to hear from and walk with God as we build a stronger personal, spiritual relationship with God; and then a stronger relationship with our spouses.
We will discuss what it means to be in Unity with our spouse, how to make better decisions, manage conflict, pray, spend time in God's word, hear His voice, and seek God's will.
This is not "group therapy" or a focus group on behavior change, but about opening our hearts and letting God do His work in our lives and in our marriage.
The weekend will include time together as a group as well as time to be together as a couple to process what you are receiving; and your sharing as a couple is kept private and not brought before the group.

Pre-Retreat Questions
We have a requested donation minimum of
$50 per person as a non-refundable "registration fee" to go towards the basic costs of setting up this Abiding Retreat.

If you cannot afford to donate any amount, please ask your retreat leader about our scholarships. Many people ask what the ministry typically invests in these retreats. Since our retreat leaders are all volunteers, we are able to offer these retreat experiences for around $250-300 per person.

Notes - please read each one fully:
- Condo accommodations are paid by each couple. Please call David or Brian at 813-961-9400 to register and make payment arrangements. There will be two couples per condo (each couple will have a bedroom and a bathroom).
- We will start with dinner promptly at 5pm on Friday. Please plan to arrive early to settle into your room, unpack, and exhale.
- The last 2.5 hours of the weekend are the most critical and go until noon on Sunday, then we will finish with lunch.
- Unless we hear otherwise, please plan on attire being country club casual.
- All materials, snacks, drinks, meals, and meeting spaces are paid for by the ministry. Your costs are only your transportation to/from and your room.
- If you are not familiar with Bibles with the cross-reference feature, click here for one attendees find very helpful. Remember, each person should bring a Bible with cross-references.
