"Last days" men of god

image3

“Last Days” – Men of God is a “task force” of men, for the harvesting of men’s souls in the “last days”. The term “last days” is mentioned in the New Testament only a few times, once in II Timothy 3:1, and again in II Peter 3:3,  speaking about coming evil, and again in Acts 2:17, speaking about God’s anointed people. We are here to help men understand the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the giftedness men have because of that Baptism, and their anointing to win the lost to Jesus Christ. Acts 1:8 clearly states, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”. We also have a youth counterpart to this called “Gideon’s Army”, with the same values being taught.

“Last Days” – Men of God is under Abide Ministries, a 501 C 3, tax deductible ministry, founded in 1998 by Pastor Michael R. Smith @ 239-571-0141.

We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Golden Gate Community Center starting January 8, 2019 (and) monthly on the first Saturday of each month for a men’s fellowship breakfast from 7:00-8:30 am at Perkins on Pine Ridge Road.

"Last Days" Men of God Oath

1. I pledge my integrity and purity to those I stand with. (But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” -  I Peter 1:15, 16)

2. I will honor God, the Church, my country, and my fellow man.

(The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.  Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. – Romans 8:17, 18)

3. I will look well to the needs of my family. (Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. – Ephesians 5:25 / Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. – Ephesians 6:4)

4. I will grow in my spiritual God-given gifts and talents. (Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. – I Corinthians 12:1 / Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. – I Peter 4:10)

5. I am an ambassador of the Kingdom of God. (We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. – II Corinthians 5:20)

6. I am a stranger here, but heaven is my home. (But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. – Philippians 3:20)

7. I am a king and a priest before Almighty God. (But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. – I Peter 2:9 / To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. – Revelation 1:5, 6)

8. I am a “Last Days” – Man of God. (In the last days, God says, “I will pour out [ pour out of ] My Spirit on all flesh.  Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams”  – Acts 2:17)
